General Show Information & Rules                        SRCHA Futurity 2005

 

-Call for cattle for show & by September 30or you will be charged an extra $25 per head & be subject to re-run

 6970. Please indicate the number of stalls needed when you reserve cattle.

-Stalls $60/show or $20/one night only, Shavings $6/bag, Camper hook ups $15/night

-Host hotel is Super 8 (308)-872-6428.  Ask for Cow Horse Show rooms.

-Weather permitting there will be a practice pen available-$25/4 minutes.

-NRCHA rules apply to NRCHA classes, Futurity, Derby & Ranchers classes with exceptions posted in Ranchers   

 rules.

-Show will pay back 80% of entry fees.

-NRCHA $8/class fee will be charged.  This will be taken out of posted administration fee.

-Owners & Riders must be members of NRCHA & SRCHA to compete in Futurity, Derby & NRCHA classes.

-Riders must be members of SRCHA to compete in Ranchers Classes.

-Bad checks will not be tolerated & will be charged a $30 fee.

-Exhibitors must enter one class prior to the start of their class.  Please enter the first class of the day the day 

  before, so that the draw may be posted.

-Show will be paid out within 30 days.

-Show management reserves right to cancel any class with three entries or less.

 

FUTURITY & DERBY RULES

 

-Futurity is open to 3 year old horses only.  A copy of registration papers or veterinary inspection will be required.

-Derby is open to 4 & 5 year old horses only. A copy of registration papers or veterinary inspection will be      

  required.

-Futurity & Derby are double judged, one go round, all classes run concurrent

-We will match entry fee money in place of added money if there are less than five entries in a class.

-Classes will pay back 80% of entry fee plus added money, 10% of the purse will be paid in each go round & 70%   

 paid in average.

-One cattle & administration fee will be charged per horse/rider team regardless of how many Futurity or Derby classes they enter.

-An NRCHA $8/class fee will be charged. This will be taken out of posted administration fee.

-$5,000 Limited classes are based on lifetime earnings in all Cow Horse events.

-Stallion Stakes entries must be sired by Stallions nominated to Nebraska’s SRCHA 2004 Stallion Stakes.

-Futurity & Derby entries will close 9 P.M. Thursday, October 6th.
